into the city. no troubles at the san mateo bridge. the drive is 12 minutes from into an. southbound on 01 the golden gate bridge. a few cars in camera shot. the lanes are not reconfigured for the south bound trip. no--not too many cars on the span. >> new this morning one man has died after two people were found bound and gagged in the middle of the bayview district last night. here is video of the scene. the victims a male and female were found around 830 in the 900 block of brazil's street. both were taken to a local hospital with life- threatening injuries. officials say the man died just before midnight. his identity has not been released. the female victim's condition remains unknown at this time. no suspect have been arrested. anyone with information on this case is asked to call the san francisco police department. >> police in vallejo are searching near mare island for a missing fair oaks man. 7 to 7 mattingly was last seen saturday night around 5. those close to mattingly say he has-his tugboat dock on the mare island and took it out on the water frequently. police searched matt

on tonight, and right now though it's a wintry mix of snow and freezing rain through oklahoma city and dangerous thunderstorms with reports of pea-sized hail and you can see the lightning strikes popping up across dallas, texas into she haveport and all this energy sliding northeast. a lot of moisture coming up from the gulf that's just enhancing it. what does that mean for today? we don't have a tornado watch yet, but i anticipate we'll see one for this afternoon, especially for the areas highlighted in the brighter orange color. good risk for a moderate risk for the risk of tornadoes, hail and possible damaging winds. some of these winds could get up to 50 miles per hour or greater. if it's not enough where we have the lightning and thunder and rain we also have dense fog. make it any more dangerous to see if there e's debris blown apart. this is really tough this morning for those that are traveling. be very careful with the fog out there and snow building in later today and tonight. a real mess for this christmas. i hope everyone can stay inside as much as possible. >> lots for

and heavy rain through the big cities of the northeast and soon new england. it's a rough morning for the commute. winds just gusted to 43 at jfk airport. you can imagine at the airports especially from new york city, philadelphia and northwards will have the most significant delays and cancellations on this friday. thankfully it's just rain. we're not really dealing with igs ice or snow in new england. it's a different story in the great lakes. it's a winter wonderland anywhere in the state of michigan. it snowed hard last night, northern indiana and much of the state of ohio right now is seeing snow. careful driving, interstate 70 going across the lower portions of the great lakes and the ohio valley. and the winds are gusting, too. we probably have a little bit of blowing and drifting snow in indiana, michigan and ohio. and again, those winds this morning around new york city could get as high as 60 miles per hour. the worst of it coming in the next three hours. so keep that in mind as you're driving on the roads or doing anything outdoors. as far as snowfall goes, over the nex
